Meaghan grew up in Burlington and has been practicing with Haber and Associates since December 2016. Since her call to the bar in June 2014, Meaghan has been practicing family, child protection, and criminal law. She first obtained her Bachelor of Social Work at Ryerson University in 2010, and then completed her Juris Doctor (law degree) and Masters of Social Work simultaneously, graduating from the University of Windsor in 2013. Upon finishing her studies, Meaghan completed the Articling Program with Legal Aid Ontario at the St. Catharines duty counsel office where she worked closely with self-represented individuals in both the criminal and family law systems.
She has extensive experience in supporting individuals from many walks of life, including those struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues and their family members. Meaghan is a strong advocate for her clients.
As a member of the Office of the Children’s Lawyer personal rights panel, Meaghan will be available to represent children in high conflict custody and access disputes, as well as child protection proceedings.
