Ryan practices real estate law, corporate law, wills and estates and estate litigation.
Ryan grew up in Oakville, Ontario and is a graduate of the University of Windsor and Acadia University, having received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at Windsor and his Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKIN Sports Management) at Acadia. He was called to the Bar in 2007 and enhances his skills by attending continuing education programs offered by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Since joining Haber & Associates, Ryan’s practice focuses specifically on real estate, corporate, and estate law. In this capacity, Ryan handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, including the preparation of deeds and mortgages. Ryan provides advice regarding the various methods of carrying on a business. He also assists in the incorporation and organization of companies and drafts security agreements, shareholder agreements, leases and other documents of a corporate or commercial nature for his clients. Estate planning, including the drafting of wills and powers of attorney are also within Ryan’s experience.
Ryan thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family and travelling. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys golf, ice hockey, in-line hockey, beach volleyball, and baseball and is a member with Clublink at Glencairn Golf Club.
Further, Ryan believes in community involvement and being an active member with charitable associations, and is involved with the following groups:
- Director of Town of Milton Chamber of Commerce Board;
- Committee Member of Government Relations Board with Town of Milton Chamber of Commerce;
- Member of Town of Milton’s Committee for Remuneration of Town Councillors;
- Member of Town of Milton’s Municipal Compliance and Elections Committee;
- Board Member of Crimestoppers of Halton;
- Affiliated Member of Halton Region’s Business Enterprises Association; and
- Member of the Halton Small Business Centre Review Committee affiliated with Canadian Youth Business Foundation
