Joseph (Joe) practices motor vehicle accidents, non-automobile injuries, wrongful death, employment law, insurance litigation and general litigation. Joe practices plaintiff personal injury law, particularly with emphasis on serious car and motorcycle accidents, aquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, wrongful death, slip and falls, trip and falls, dog maulings and other personal injuries.
Joe also focuses on representing clients in professional disciplinary issues, tribunal advocacy, and employment law (employer and employee). Joe has appeared before many levels of court and before many tribunal matters, including Small Claims, the Superior Court, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Canadian Pension Plan Tribunal, the Pension Review Tribunal. He has also represented clients Financial Services Commission mediatons.
Joe also devotes a large amount of his practices to employment law and represents both employers and employees in non-union issues. He also represents many Burlington small business owners and Burlington clinics with respect to independent contractor arrangement, non-competition litigation, non-disclosure litigation, non-solicitation litigation, employment agreements, contracts, dismissal issues, maternity leave issues, workplace issues, and employment litigation.
